Book Donation Program

Target Population

  • Women (especially single mothers)
  • Adolescents and young adults
  • Underserved Black and urban communities
  • Churches, schools, and community-based organizations

Core Problem

Many individuals in underserved communities:

  • Lack language to understand trauma
  • Normalize emotional neglect
  • Do not seek help due to stigma


👉 This leads to cycles of dysfunction, untreated mental health issues, and unstable family systems

Expected Measurable Outcomes

Short-Term (0–6 months):

  • of books distributed
  • of partner organizations
  • of participants engaged in discussions

Mid-Term (6–12 months):

  • Increased awareness of trauma (pre/post surveys)
  • Increased willingness to seek support
  • Increased emotional vocabulary

Long-Term (1–3 years):

  • Improved mental health engagement
  • Stronger family communication
  • Reduced stigma in target communities
