• 1963/4 - Lost her mother due to cancer; Went to live with oldest sister

• 1965 - 1st daughter, Gayle

• 1967 - 2nd daughter, Joycelyn

• 1968 - 3rd daughter, Leslie

• 1969 - 1st, only son - Keith

• 1969 - Started working for State of Illinois - Department of Labor

• 1971/72 - Husband, Wesley B. Johnson, Died

• 1993 - 1st Grandchild, Christopher

• 1998 - 2nd Grandchild, Jaye

• 1999 - 3rd Grandchild, Maia

• 2000 - 4th Grandchild, Marlon

• 2002 - 5th Grandchild, Isaiah

She truly never met a stranger and especially loved young people and encouraged them to continue their education and be successful in life.
